The High Court has granted actress Lakshmi R Menon protection from arrest until September 17 in connection with an alleged assault and abduction case involving an IT employee in Kochi. Lakshmi claims the complainant insulted her and her friend at a restaurant, leading to a confrontation. She alleges the complainant and his associates followed and attacked them.
