Released on August 24, 2000, the film starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik and Sonali Bendre in pivotal roles. Anil revealed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan nearly stepped away from the project just before the shoot began.
