YSRCP backs C P Radhakrishnan: Jagan’s party supports NDA nominee; boost for alliance in VP polls

The YSR Congress Party, with its 11 MPs, has pledged its support to NDA’s vice-presidential candidate, C P Radhakrishnan, bolstering the ruling alliance’s prospects. YSRCP MP Maddila Gurumoorthy confirmed the party’s backing, even as the opposition gears up to nominate its own candidate. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reportedly contacted YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy to secure the endorsement.
