UP horror: Deaf-mute woman gangraped in Balrampur

Balrampur police arrested Ankur Verma and Harshit Pandey for the gangrape of a 22-year-old deaf-mute woman. The arrest happened after an encounter. The victim was attacked on August 11. CCTV footage showed the victim fleeing. The suspects were trying to escape to Nepal. They opened fire on police. Both confessed to the crime. Police are investigating further.
