India’s FASTag system is getting an upgrade. The National Highways Authority of India will launch the FASTag Annual Pass on Independence Day. This pass costs Rs 3,000. It allows up to 200 toll crossings or a year of travel for private vehicles. The goal is to reduce congestion and speed up toll transactions.
