CBSE has mandated APAAR ID linkage for students from Classes 9 to 12 starting with the 2026 board exams. It has also announced a hike in exam and registration fees for the academic year 2025–26 across India, Nepal, and foreign countries. Additionally, the board will set up an AI-powered digital experience centre in New Delhi.
