From flood zone to free flow: Delhi’s infamous Minto Bridge stays clear of waterlogging again; breaks decades-old jinx, vehicles roll on without a splash

Despite heavy rain disrupting flight operations and causing waterlogging in other parts of Delhi-NCR, the Minto Bridge underpass remained clear of flooding on Saturday. This 90-year-old underbridge, a notorious monsoon trouble spot, has not experienced any waterlogging this year, a significant improvement attributed to PWD’s high-priority monitoring.
