Dave Gallagher, a former NFL player for the New York Giants who transitioned to a career as an orthopedic surgeon, has passed away at 73. After a brief football stint, he pursued his lifelong dream of medicine, later coaching youth football in Indiana. A service honoring his life will be held on August 19th.
