Mathura Sridharan, an Indian-origin lawyer, became Ohio’s 12th Solicitor General. Attorney General Dave Yost announced her selection. Sridharan previously served as Deputy Solicitor General. She directed Ohio’s Tenth Amendment Center. Sridharan argued cases before various courts, including the US Supreme Court. She holds degrees from MIT and New York University School of Law. Sridharan enjoys travelling, cooking, and Carnatic music.
