A two-day thyroid workshop, organized by the ENT department at Banaras Hindu University, successfully concluded with 20 patients undergoing thyroid swelling operations. Doctors from across the country participated and learned modern surgical techniques, notably local anesthesia, a long-practiced method at BHU. The workshop aimed to train doctors in this technique for wider patient benefit.
