Dubai’s RTA has completed a major upgrade of ventilation and air conditioning systems on the Red Line metro, ensuring passenger comfort during peak summer. The overhaul covered 876 units across 14 stations, maintaining stable temperatures between 24–25°C without service interruptions. Phase 3 will focus on energy efficiency and sustainability, aiming to reduce the metro’s carbon footprint through technology upgrades.
