Microsoft has released a fix for a critical security flaw in its SharePoint software. Hackers actively exploited this vulnerability, targeting businesses and US government agencies. The flaw, a ‘zero-day’ vulnerability, allowed full access to SharePoint file systems. While a patch is available for newer versions, a solution for SharePoint Server 2016 is still in development.
