India is nearing completion of a new 130-km road to Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) in eastern Ladakh, expected to be fully operational by Oct-Nov 2026. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has completed significant portions of the road, enhancing military mobility to the frontier.
