Hyderabad police arrested five individuals for the murder of CPI leader Kethavath Chandu Rathod. D Rajesh, a CPI-ML leader, masterminded the crime due to a long-standing feud. The motive involved extortion money disputes and suspicions of an affair. The suspects were apprehended in Kavali and Jangaon. Police recovered firearms and the getaway vehicle.
