A devastating wildfire has destroyed the historic Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim, along with numerous other buildings. The 1928 landmark, previously rebuilt after a 1932 fire, was consumed by the blaze, which has spread across 45,000 acres. The loss includes the lodge’s iconic Sun Room and many historic cabins.
