“The physical comic book is never going to fade away”

Comic Con India made its debut in Kolkata with iconic creators Bill Golliher, John Layman, and Savio Mascarenhas interacting with fans. Golliher, known for Archie comics, emphasized humour, while Layman highlighted storytelling. Mascarenhas discussed keeping classics relevant by introducing new characters. All agreed that physical comic books remain irreplaceable despite the digital age.
