Two patients being treated for Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) in Pune have died, increasing Maharashtra’s casualties to 19 since the outbreak was discovered on January 9. The GBS outbreak in India has caused 23 deaths overall, with 211 cases predominantly from Pune and surrounding areas. No new cases have been reported.
