ISRO has initiated the design for its next-generation launch vehicle, Soorya, with funds sanctioned and a team set up. Soorya will have two versions, for low Earth orbit and geosynchronous transfer orbit, featuring a three-stage design and significant payload capacities. Expected to be completed in seven years, this project supports future human missions and lunar exploration.
