Several media reports suggest that the series will blend classic storytelling with a fresh perspective. A report by Zoom mentioned Smriti finally signing the contract for ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ on June 8. Earlier, various reports suggested that even though she had started shooting for the series, she had not signed any contract. It was only earlier this week that Ekta Kapoor reportedly sealed the deal.
