Engineering faculty to now ‘intern’ in factories, labs & boardrooms

Faculty from Indian engineering colleges will spend a year in industry, supported by AICTE and host companies, to gain practical experience and address complaints about students’ readiness for real-world challenges. The program involves 300 faculty members under 45, with different internship models being tested.
