Good news for taxpayers. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has provided an extension for filing Income Tax Returns. The new deadline is September 15, 2025. This applies to returns originally due by July 31, 2025. The extension accommodates revisions in ITR forms. It also considers ongoing system development.
