BFI interim panel takes charge, state associations call out election delay

Despite a World Boxing order, the Boxing Federation of India’s interim panel, led by Ajay Singh, is facing criticism for delaying elections, which were due since February 2nd. While the panel focuses on reinstating elite boxing programs and ensuring participation in Asian Championships, a rival faction is demanding immediate elections, alleging dictatorial practices and poor performance at the Paris Games.
