Banks will remain closed for four days in different cities across the country between 14 September and 20 September. However, these holidays will not apply across the country at the same time; banks will remain closed in several places in accordance with regional festivals. According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) official holiday list, banking operations will be affected during this period at branches of all public and private sector banks, including the State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Punjab National Bank.
