Now order LPG cylinders through e-commerce:Swiggy partners with HPCL for delivery in Bengaluru

Swiggy’s quick commerce platform Instamart has announced a partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited to start delivery of LPG cylinders. Under this, customers will now be able to order on-demand LPG gas cylinders directly through the Instamart app. On Wednesday, July 15, both companies announced the launch of this service. This is the country’s first partnership with a quick commerce platform for quick delivery of gas cylinders. In the initial phase, this service will be rolled out in Bengaluru, Karnataka. New 10 kg ‘HP Navya’ and 5 kg cylinder will be available Through this partnership, customers will be able to order two types of HPCL cylinders on the Instamart app. This includes the company’s recently launched ‘HP Navya’ 10 kilogram composite LPG cylinder. Additionally, customers will also be able to book HPCL’s traditional 5 kilogram metal (iron) LPG cylinder through the app. You can book even without any old connection The companies have informed that customers will not need any existing household LPG gas connection to purchase these gas cylinders through Instamart. This will be extremely convenient for those who have shifted to a new city or who need a gas connection immediately. Know how the order and refill process will work First Order: If a customer books a cylinder from the app for the first time, it will be considered a new cylinder purchase. For first-time purchases, the customer’s identity verification will be done and necessary documents related to delivery proof will be taken. Refill Order: After the first time, whenever customers book a cylinder again, they will have to hand over their old empty HPCL cylinder to the delivery personnel at the time of delivery. 3 Features of ‘HP Navya’ Composite Cylinder HPCL’s new composite cylinder is quite different from regular metal cylinders. Its features Lightweight: This cylinder is much lighter compared to old and iron cylinders, making it extremely easy to move from one place to another. Transparent Body: The body of this cylinder is transparent. Its biggest advantage is that customers can see from outside how much gas is left in the cylinder and when they need to get the cylinder refilled. Rust-proof: This cylinder is completely rust-proof, which increases its lifespan and makes it completely safe for household use. Only Authorized Distributors Will Deliver Instammart CEO Amitesh Jha said that despite bookings being made through the quick commerce app, no compromise has been made on safety. Customer orders will be fulfilled directly from HPCL’s authorized distributor network. Cylinder delivery will only be done by professional delivery staff, who will fully comply with all applicable safety and regulatory rules.
