Indian Railways is going to launch the new beta version of the IRCTC website on Wednesday, 15 July, 2026. This updated portal has removed the option of captcha and pop-ups for train ticket booking. This will make online ticket booking easier than before, and will also take less time. Additionally, the availability of seats in all classes will be visible on a single screen. Live demo given to MNIT Jaipur students Before the launch, on Friday, officials from IRCTC and Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) gave a live demo of this new beta version to students of Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur. Railway officials have also sought feedback from students to further improve the platform’s user experience before the public release.
