Gold and silver prices declined this week. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell by ₹2,976 to ₹1.43 lakh . Earlier, it was at ₹1.46 lakh last week, i.e., on July 4. Meanwhile, silver has come down from ₹2.34 lakh per kg to ₹2.20 lakh . This means its price decreased by ₹13,468 . Earlier, last month, i.e., in June, there was a decline in gold and silver. Last month, gold became cheaper by ₹15,000 and silver by ₹38,000.
