A Jay Ambe Travels bus travelling from Rewa to Indore caught fire near the Shipra Police Station in Indore district on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at around 11 am, but all passengers were safely evacuated before the fire spread. No injuries or casualties were reported. Tyre Burst Believed to Have Triggered the Fire According to police, the moving bus suffered a sudden tyre burst, after which the driver attempted to bring the vehicle under control. During the process, friction is believed to have ignited a fire in the front portion of the bus. Fire brigade personnel reached the spot shortly after receiving the alert and managed to extinguish the flames. Passengers Shifted to Another Bus Following the incident, police arranged an alternative bus to transport all passengers safely to Indore. The fire caused brief panic among the passengers, but timely evacuation ensured that no one was harmed. Police said the exact cause of the fire is being investigated. Preliminary findings suggest that the blaze may have been caused by friction generated after the tyre burst, though officials are awaiting the final investigation report.
