The Madhya Pradesh State Education Centre (Rajya Shiksha Kendra), under the School Education Department, on Tuesday declared the results of the Class 5 and Class 8 re-examinations. In the re-exams, 80.42% of Class 5 students and 74.16% of Class 8 students passed. After combining the results of the main annual examination and the re-examination, the overall pass percentage for the 2025–26 academic session reached 98.89% for Class 5 and 98.19% for Class 8. Students can check results online Dr. Arun Singh, Additional Director of the State Education Centre, said that students, parents and teachers can check the results by entering the student’s roll number on the State Education Centre’s examination portal. Teachers and school heads can also access student-wise results for their respective schools through the same portal. Nearly 1.48 lakh students appeared for the re-exams The re-examinations were conducted between June 16 and June 23 across government, private schools and registered madrasas in the state. To evaluate the answer sheets, the department set up 322 evaluation centres across Madhya Pradesh, where more than 17,000 evaluators assessed the papers and uploaded marks online. Government schools record stronger performance Class 5 Among 46,665 students from government schools, 36,217 passed the re-examination. In registered madrasas, 352 out of 581 students passed. Among private schools, 20,971 of 24,302 students cleared the examination. Class 8 In government schools, 40,315 out of 56,738 students passed. Among registered madrasas, 268 out of 423 students qualified. In private schools, 15,978 of 19,113 students passed the re-examination. Result available on examination portal The State Education Centre has advised students to check their results online using their roll numbers. Teachers and school administrators can also download student-wise results for their respective institutions through the official examination portal.
