The National Scheduled Caste-Scheduled Tribe Youth Association submitted a memorandum at TT Nagar Police Station in Bhopal on Sunday, demanding immediate action against a man accused of allegedly damaging portraits of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Birsa Munda. Association alleges portraits were slashed with a knife According to the memorandum, the incident took place recently at the AJAKS Bhavan in Bhopal, where a man identified as Mukesh Maurya allegedly slashed portraits of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Birsa Munda with a knife. The organisation described the act as an insult to the two revered leaders and said it had deeply hurt the sentiments of the community. Organisation warns of statewide protest State President of the association, Rahul Paware, demanded immediate legal action against the accused. He warned that if prompt action is not taken, the organisation will launch a statewide agitation in protest.
