The long-running property dispute in the Scindia royal family, one of India’s most prominent royal families, is now close to being resolved. After several meetings, a formula has been agreed to divide properties worth billions of rupees between Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and his aunts, including Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Yashodhara Raje Scindia and Usha Raje Rana. Only legal approval is now pending. Jyotiraditya Scindia has filed an application in the Gwalior District Court, where the matter will be heard on July 5. Applications from his aunts are expected next week. Once approved, the settlement will end more than a dozen property cases pending for years in courts in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Gwalior. The command of ‘Scindia Investment Private Limited (SIPL)’, which Madhavrao Scindia received in the previous division, is currently with Jyotiraditya Scindia. Panna’s divine Shivling, Rajmata’s legacy will now come to Jyotiraditya’s share! The most emotional and spiritual aspect of this entire property division is the ‘Shivling’ made of Panna (emerald). This is the same divine Shivling that Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia kept with her throughout her life. It is being discussed that this priceless Shivling is currently safely with former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia. There has been no official confirmation of this yet, but sources claim that under the new agreement, this historical and sacred Shivling is now going to come into the share of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia.
