Man dies after recording video before alleged suicide:Victim blames family dispute; sent video to his wife before consuming poison

A 28-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after consuming poison in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district on Friday. Before taking the extreme step, he recorded a video, which later went viral. In the video, he accused his mother-in-law, brother-in-law and wife of influencing his wife against him. He reportedly sent the video to his wife before consuming poison. The deceased has been identified as Vallabh Meena (28), a resident of Ramnagar village in the Fatehgarh area. He was a farmer. Vallabh married Sakshi Meena in 2018, and the couple has a 6-year-old child. Following his death, the body was sent for post-mortem, which was conducted at the district hospital on Saturday morning. Around 10 days ago, his wife left for her parents’ home with their six-year-old child. Vallabh reportedly asked her to return, but she refused. He also requested that the child be sent back, but his in-laws allegedly did not allow him to meet the child. Distressed by the situation, Vallabh allegedly consumed poison at his home on Friday evening. As his condition worsened, family members rushed him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Made a video of consuming poison before suicide In the viral video, the young man is seen recording the entire incident before consuming poison himself. At the beginning of the video, he spends about 20 seconds naming those people whom he is holding responsible for his condition. In the video, he says that his brother-in-law’s wife, Rashmibai, his mother-in-law, Guddi Bai, and his brother-in-law, Balwant, played a role in instigating his wife against him. After this, he takes out a small pouch from his pocket and tears it open with his teeth. He starts consuming poison right in front of the camera. In about 20 seconds, he empties the entire pouch. Immediately after this, he picks up a water bottle. He drinks almost the entire bottle of water. He sends the video to his wife. Condition deteriorated as soon as the poison took effect; young man kept writhing in pain Shortly after this, the young man’s health starts deteriorating rapidly. As the effect of the poison increases, he starts writhing in pain. Seeing this, the family members panic and try to help him. The young man starts vomiting continuously. Foam is seen coming out of his mouth. Family members pick him up and rush to take him to the hospital, but throughout the journey his condition continues to remain critical. By the time they reach the hospital, his condition becomes extremely critical, while the family members appear completely distraught and distressed.
