A four-year-old boy was killed, and his mother and a relative were critically injured after a speeding dumper truck allegedly ran them over in Sehore district. According to police, the accident occurred at Talpura Junction in Budhni. The deceased has been identified as Tanish Kir (4), a resident of Jajna-Rehti village. His mother, Prachi Kir (25), and relative Manish Kir (45) sustained serious injuries. Eyewitnesses alleged that the dumper dragged the child for nearly 15–20 metres, causing fatal injuries. Despite suffering serious injuries herself, Prachi remained beside her child as bystanders tried to comfort her until emergency assistance arrived. Witnesses said the impact was so severe that the child sustained catastrophic injuries after being dragged by the dumper. Locals rush victims to hospital Residents rushed to the scene after the accident and informed the police. With the help of locals, the injured were taken to a nearby hospital. As the condition of Prachi Kir and Manish Kir was reported to be critical, both were later referred to Narmadapuram for advanced medical treatment. The accident also disrupted traffic on the road for some time. Dumper seized, driver booked Budhni SDOP Ravi Sharma said police reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the accident. The dumper truck has been seized, and a case has been registered against its driver. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
