India’s all-rounder Nitish Reddy has been ruled out of the two-match T20I series against Ireland starting from June 26 in Belfast. It has been learned, as per Cricbuzz, that pace all-rounder’s quadriceps injury flared up once again after forcing him to miss the 2nd ODI of the recently concluded series against Afghanistan. For now, it is not confirmed by what time, Reddy will mark his return. However, if he does not recover in time, there is a high chance of him missing the England Tour of India, which is scheduled to start next month. Notably, the pace all-rounder was part of the squads picked for ODIs and T20Is against England. Nitish Reddy will not travel with the Indian team to Ireland As per the report, Nitish Reddy missed the second ODI against Afghanistan due to an issue with his quads, and it seems like the issue has become serious enough to get medical attention. So it is expected that the 23-year-old will not travel with the team to Ireland. If the selectors name a replacement for Reddy, Suryansh Shedge is the front-runner due to his impressive recent outings for India A in Sri Lanka.
