Tracking geopolitical developments, the Indian benchmark indices remained roughly unchanged on Tuesday, 23 June, 2026. The 30-share Sensex slipped below the 77,000 mark. While, the 50-share Nifty was flattish. Stocks like Trent, Powergrid, Sun Pharma, Adani Ports, Eternal, and ICICI Bank traded higher in the Sensex. Sectorally, on the NSE, indices of Metal and IT were among the losers, whereas, Nifty Pharma rose the most rallying over 1%. Oil floats below $80 per barrel mark Oil prices traded under pressure on Tuesday. The global standard for oil prices, Brent crude continued to trade below $80 per barrel. The internal standard has become 34% cheaper from Iran war high of $120 per barrel. IPO of company operating Cordelia Cruises opens today The IPO of Waterways Leisure Tourism Limited, the company operating sea cruises under the brand name ‘Cordelia Cruises’ in India, has opened for subscription today, i.e., Tuesday, June 23. This public issue will remain open till Thursday, June 25. The company has set a target to raise ₹585 crores through this IPO, for which the price band has been fixed at ₹769 to ₹808 per share.
