In a shocking incident from Guna district of Madhya Pradesh, a man allegedly killed his mother and two other people after a liquor party. The accused objected to his mother’s alleged illicit relationship and was also involved in a land dispute. Acting on old enmity, he along with his cousin and another associate strangled all three victims to death. The deceased have been identified as Binda Bai Jatav from Badarwas, Ramkishan Jatav from Kolaras, and 60-year-old Omprakash Sharma from Myana. Initially, one of the bodies recovered on Sunday was believed to be that of Omprakash Sharma, but later it was confirmed to be Ramkishan Jatav. Local people called the police after a foul smell came from the house Police said locals alerted them after a strong foul smell started coming from a house near Hanuman Temple in Myana. When police reached the spot, the house was locked from outside. After breaking open the door, they found a decomposed male body in one of the rooms. The body appeared to be several days old, and preliminary assessment suggested death had occurred three to four days earlier. Since the house was locked from outside and the condition of the body was suspicious, police began a detailed investigation. Two more bodies found from another room on Monday While the investigation into the first body was still underway, police recovered two more bodies from another room in the same premises on Monday morning. These bodies were also in a highly decomposed condition and were sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. During investigation, the woman was identified as Binda Bai Jatav from Badarwas, while the male body was initially said to be Ramkishan Jatav from Kolaras. This development created further confusion in the case. New Controversy Arises Over Identification of Bodies However, Ramkishan’s son refused to accept the identification of the male body recovered on Monday. Police then called the identifying persons again for verification. During re-verification, the family identified the Monday-recovered male body as Omprakash Sharma based on footwear and a chain around the neck. This completely changed the understanding of the case. Police later clarified that the body initially identified as Omprakash Sharma and already cremated was actually Ramkishan Jatav, while the male body found with the woman on Monday was that of Omprakash Sharma. Mystery solved with help of CCTV, cyber and FSL After the recovery of three bodies, police took the matter seriously and formed multiple teams. CCTV footage was examined, the cyber cell was activated, and forensic support from FSL was also taken. Based on technical and physical evidence, police tracked down the accused after analysing movements of the victims and suspects. Son was angry about mother’s alleged illicit relationships Guna SP Hitika Vasal revealed that the main accused in the triple murder is the son of Binda Bai, identified as Sitaram. Investigation revealed that he was unhappy with his mother’s alleged relationship with Omprakash Sharma. There was also an ongoing dispute over land, which further escalated tensions. Murder committed during drinking party on June 18 According to police, on 18 June, Binda Bai, Omprakash Sharma, and Ramkishan Jatav were together and were consuming alcohol. Taking advantage of the situation, Sitaram, along with his cousin Surendra and another associate, strangled all three victims to death. After committing the murders, the accused left the bodies inside the rooms and fled the scene. The house remained locked for several days, causing decomposition of the bodies and eventually leading to the discovery when foul smell spread in the area. Two accused arrested, search for third continues Police confirmed that Sitaram and his cousin Surendra were directly involved in the killings. A third person is also suspected to be part of the crime. Two accused have been arrested, while one remains absconding. Police teams are actively searching for him and conducting raids at possible hideouts.
