Bharti has also dismissed the claim of two lakh rupees being stolen. She states that she had been living with her husband for the past three years and had never seen such a large amount of cash at home. She alleged that usually only 10 to 20 thousand rupees were kept in the house. She never received information about keeping more than this amount. She questioned how she could be accused of mobile theft when she wasn’t even in Baraundha. She alleges that this complaint was filed to create pressure and deter her from legal action.
