Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Union Minister for Power and Housing Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar, and Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya arrived in Ujjain on Friday. They were welcomed at the helipad by Divisional Commissioner Ashish Singh, Collector Roshan Kumar Singh and SP Pradeep Sharma. During their visit, the Chief Minister and the Union Minister will participate in local programmes and attend two important state-level review meetings scheduled at the Administrative Complex building. Dr. Yadav reached Ujjain at around 4 pm after attending President Droupadi Murmu’s programme in Omkareshwar and seeing her off at Indore Airport. Earlier, the Chief Minister also attended a programme in Indore along with Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar before arriving in Ujjain. He is also likely to participate in programmes at Kapila Gaushala and other events in the city. At 6 pm, the first meeting at the Administrative Complex will focus on a state-level review of the Swachh Bharat Mission. This will be followed by a second meeting to review the progress of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will also be present at both review meetings.
