The match referee stated in his report that the action is based on incidents that occurred during and after the match. Now, the final decision rests with the cricket board and the tournament’s disciplinary committee. On Monday, after the match between India and Sri Lanka ended, Sooryavanshi had an argument with Halambage. Following this, Sooryavanshi pushed the Sri Lankan player. Vaibhav had a scuffle with the Sri Lankan player The match played on June 15 was a tie. After this, Sri Lanka-A scored 16 runs in the super over. In response, India could only score 9 runs. After India lost the match, Sri Lankan players said something to Vaibhav. This angered Vaibhav, and he got into a scuffle with a Sri Lankan player. The dispute started with a comment from a Sri Lankan player Host team player Vishan Halambage had commented on Vaibhav. Halambage told Vaibhav, “This is not IPL, the match is over… now you go home.” At this remark, Suryavanshi pushed the Sri Lankan player.
