A case of cyber blackmailing has come to light in the Thatipura area of Gwalior. A 24-year-old woman has filed a complaint with the police that an unknown person created fake nude pictures of her using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and made them viral on social media and WhatsApp. After this, the accused called and demanded one lakh rupees and threatened to send the pictures to more people if the money was not paid. Called and demanded Rs 1 lakh The victim told the police that between May 21 and June 10, she continuously received calls from a mobile number. The caller claimed that he had objectionable pictures of the woman. Later, he sent some pictures on WhatsApp, which left the woman shocked. She says that these pictures are completely fake and were created using AI technology. The accused threatened that if one lakh rupees was not paid, he would send these pictures to more people and defame her. After the incident, the young woman and her family are very distressed. The young woman says that she never took any such photograph. Someone has tried to tarnish her image by misusing modern technology. Police have started investigation After receiving the complaint, Thatipur police station has registered a case and started investigation. Police are investigating the mobile number and WhatsApp activities. With the help of cyber experts, it is being ascertained through which technology or platform the pictures were created and to whom they were sent. Misuse of AI is increasing Cyber experts say that fake pictures and videos of people are being created by misusing AI technology. In such cases, instead of panicking, one should immediately contact the police and cyber cell. Also, money should not be given in any kind of blackmailing. Police say that efforts are being made to identify the accused. If the allegations are found true in the investigation, action will be taken against them under IT Act and other relevant sections.
