On Thursday afternoon at Patel Bridge in Indore, a municipal corporation water tanker went out of control. Seeing the tanker coming towards them, people started running here and there to save their lives. The uncontrolled tanker collided with several cars and bikes, injuring 4 people. According to preliminary information, the accident occurred due to brake failure of the tanker. Eyewitnesses said that the tanker suddenly went out of control and kept hitting vehicles while moving forward on the road. This caused chaos at the spot. Angry people vandalized the tanker after the accident. Driver stopped the tanker by mounting it on footpath According to eyewitnesses, the driver assessed the situation and turned the tanker towards the footpath. This stopped the vehicle and averted a major accident. People say that if the tanker had continued moving forward, many more vehicles could have come under it. 3-4 cars and 2 bikes damaged Three to four cars and two bikes were damaged in the accident. The collision was so severe that several vehicles were damaged. One person riding in the tanker is also reported to be injured. However, there is no news of any serious casualties. Driver absconded after accident After the incident, the driver fled from the spot. Upon receiving information, the police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. People alleged that a vehicle in poor condition had been brought onto the road.
