An IndiGo flight coming from Mumbai to Bhopal was stopped in the final stage of take-off on Tuesday due to a technical indication. The Airbus A-321 Neo aircraft had started the take-off procedure from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at around 3:50 PM. After receiving permission from Air Traffic Control, as soon as the aircraft gained speed, the pilot received an indication of a technical malfunction in the system. Prioritizing safety, they immediately aborted the take-off and stopped the aircraft.

After the incident, the aircraft was removed from the runway and parked in a parking bay, where a team of engineers conducted a detailed technical inspection. This flight also included approximately 25 passengers returning from the Hajj pilgrimage, for whose welcome a large number of relatives were present at Bhopal Airport.
