₹46-crore-spent,-then-road-dug-up-again:drainage-line-laid-later;-100-metre-section-reopened

Residents of dozens of townships were already troubled by the slow pace of construction of the 46 crore MR-11, and now a hundred-meter section has been dug up again. The road is being dug up to lay a pipeline in the section from Nipania Square to Holy Cross School. In the morning and evening, vehicles crawl through here due to the absence of a road, deep potholes, and water accumulation at various places. Street lights are also completely off. It is not safe for two-wheeler riders to pass through in the dark. Traffic jams already occur due to bottleneck situations forming at two places on the road. It takes 8-10 minutes to cross a half-kilometre section
Trucks, buses, and containers are also passing on the narrow road. It takes 8 to 10 minutes just to cross a half-kilometer section. This road is being constructed by the Indore Development Authority. In-charge engineer Pankaj Vaishampayan says that he has just received this project. He will investigate why the constructed road had to be dug up. Alignment is also faulty
The road section from Nipania to the bypass is being constructed in a winding manner. After the maps for residential and commercial use were passed, detailed planning was approved by the Municipal Corporation and previously by the Panchayat. People also constructed accordingly. Now when the road construction started, there was no space left for it. Danger of accidents everywhere
The asphalt road was dug up and foundations were prepared to make it an RCC road. Later, the foundations were dug up and an RCC road was built directly. Residents say they have been troubled for two years due to the incomplete road. There are no street lights anywhere. There is a sudden slope. Demolition has occurred many times after construction in the past 1. Bhanwarkuan Square (Rotary and BRTS Redesign). October to December 2022. The widening work of Bhanwarkuan Square was underway. The Municipal Corporation built a large rotary (circle) and divider here and asphalted it. In October 2022, it was dug up again due to traffic jams. 2. Regal Square to Palasia (Multi-utility and Cable Duct). March to May 2023. Due to the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan (January 2023) and the G-20 Summit, this VIP road was spruced up overnight. As soon as the summit ended, the newly constructed road was dug up again in April and May 2023 for underground power lines. 3. Super Corridor. July to September 2021. When the Metro Rail Corporation accelerated soil testing and piling work for pillars on the Super Corridor, it was discovered that drainage and Narmada water supply lines were coming in the way of the pillars. Excavation was done again in August 2021 during the monsoon.
