The Indian citizen who lost his life at Kuwait International Airport in the Iranian attack has been identified as Manzoor Ahmed (50), a resident of Ujjain. Manzoor Ahmed died in a drone and missile attack on Terminal-1 of Kuwait Airport on Wednesday morning, while 63 others were injured. Terminal-1 suffered extensive damage in the attack. As soon as the news of Manzoor Ahmed’s death was received, relatives and acquaintances started arriving at his home in Raj Royal Colony, Ujjain. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the family. Was coming to Ujjain to attend wedding Manzoor Ahmed’s son, Mohammad Anas, said that his father was coming to India to attend his nephew’s wedding, which is scheduled to take place in Ratlam on June 8. They last spoke on the phone on Tuesday evening. He had said that he would reach Mumbai from Kuwait and then come to Nagda by train, from where the family was going to pick him up. Anas said that his father had been working hard for the family in Kuwait for the past nearly 30 years. He had last come home in October 2025. At that time, he had told the family that he would now come home more frequently. Was waiting for the flight, when hit by missile According to family members, Manzoor Ahmed had a flight from Kuwait to Mumbai on June 3, and he was supposed to reach Ujjain on the morning of June 4. It is being told that he was present at Terminal-1 of the airport to catch the flight when a drone and missile attack occurred. The passenger terminal of the airport suffered heavy damage in the attack, and Manzoor Ahmed died on the spot. He was the sole earner in the family Manzoor Ahmed was the sole earning member of his family. The family consists of his wife, two daughters, and one son. The son and both daughters are currently studying. The entire responsibility of the family rested on Manzoor Ahmed’s shoulders. For a better future and the education of his children, he had been working hard abroad for years. According to family members, Manzoor Ahmed worked as a tailor in Dubai and had been earning a livelihood away from his family for the past 30 years. Process to bring back the body begins Family member Mohammad Salim said that the process of bringing Manzoor Ahmed’s body to India has been started. It is expected that the body will arrive at Ahmedabad Airport from Kuwait on Thursday. After that, it will be brought to Ujjain by road. If there is no delay in formalities, the last rites will be performed on Friday. India condemns Kuwait Airport attack The Government of India has strongly condemned the attack at Kuwait International Airport. One Indian citizen has died in this attack, while several other Indians have been injured. The Ministry of External Affairs said that ever since the conflict began in West Asia, India has consistently stated that civilians and civilian facilities should not be targeted. India has once again appealed to all parties to immediately stop such attacks. Iran blames Kuwait-Bahrain Iran has condemned recent US attacks, calling them a violation of the ceasefire and international law. The Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Kuwait and Bahrain are “directly and clearly responsible” for these attacks, as their territories and military facilities were used in US operations against Iran.
