2-year-old girl dies after receiving 5 drips in clinic:Body exhumed after 4 days for post-mortem; family questions treatment claim

The family alleges that their daughter died due to wrong treatment at a private clinic. To uncover the truth of the matter, four days after her death, with the administration’s permission, the child’s body was exhumed from the cremation ground on Tuesday and sent for post-mortem. Kashvi, daughter of Nitin Yadav, a resident of Balda Colony, complained of minor vomiting and diarrhoea on May 27. Her family took her to ‘The Health Care Clinic’ located on Bholaram Ustad Marg. Kashvi died on May 28. Family said – after the drip was administered, her condition started to worsen It is alleged that Dr. Anil Ghai examined her at the clinic and administered a drip. Initially, four bottles of drip were given. After this, she vomited once. According to the family, Dr. Ghai said that one more dose was to be given. After this, the drip was administered again. After some time, her condition started deteriorating and her heartbeat became fast. When the family spoke, the doctor assured them that she would be fine. As her condition worsened, the doctor said that the drip was complete, take her home, she would be fine. After this, the family brought her home at night. At night, her hands, feet, and lips turned blue. In the morning, the family took her to a private hospital. From there, after seeing her condition, the doctors sent her to Chacha Nehru Children’s Hospital. There, seeing her critical condition, she was put on a ventilator, but despite all efforts, her life could not be saved. After the incident, her mother Nisha was distraught. On the family’s demand, permission for the post-mortem was received from the SDM In this case, the family has suspected Dr. Ghai’s treatment from the beginning. They complained to the Bhanwarkuan police. The police said that the cause of death would not be clear without a post-mortem. After this, the family took permission from the SDM. On Tuesday afternoon, in the presence of the police, the child’s body was exhumed from the grave at Pachkuinya crematorium and sent to MY Hospital for post-mortem. In the evening, Kashvi’s last rites were performed after the post-mortem. The pain of losing their daughter broke the family from within After the innocent’s death, mother Nisha’s condition is very bad. Family members say that the pain of losing their daughter has broken the entire family from within. Just a month ago, the family celebrated her birthday. He said, ‘My daughter cannot come back now, but I want no other family to suffer this pain. If my child’s life was lost due to someone’s negligence, then the truth must come out. The culprits should be punished.’ An impartial investigation of treatment-related documents, CCTV footage, and other evidence should be conducted so that the truth of the entire incident can come to light. Post-mortem conducted by a special team of 5 doctors According to Bhanwarkuan police, after the complaint from the family, the child’s body was exhumed with the permission of the SDM and a post-mortem was conducted. The post-mortem was performed by a special team of 5 doctors. Investigating officer Divesh Kalesh said that the actual cause of death will be known only on the basis of the post-mortem report and other evidence. Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
