Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, visited Vrindavan on Tuesday to seek the blessings of spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj. The couple arrived at the Kelly Kunj Ashram early in the morning and walked barefoot from their car into the premises before meeting the revered saint and receiving his blessings. The duo reportedly reached Vrindavan at around 7 AM, where they were welcomed by Premanand Maharaj’s disciples. Wearing face masks, Virat and Anushka headed straight into the ashram and spent nearly two hours there. When they emerged, Kohli was seen with sandalwood paste and a traditional tripundra mark on his forehead. Several videos and photographs of their visit later surfaced on social media. Earlier, on 20 April, coinciding with the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the couple had also visited Premanand Maharaj’s ashram, where they attended a satsang and sought his blessings.
