5,420 trainee Patwaris to face online examination:Passing online examination will grant permanent service status and higher salary-related benefits

A total of 5,420 trainee Patwaris in the state will now have to clear an online departmental examination to secure permanent service status and become eligible for salary and allowance hikes. The Madhya Pradesh Department of Land Resource Management has issued instructions in this regard to all district collectors and concerned officials across the state. According to the department’s official notification, the online departmental examination for trainee patwaris will be conducted soon. The examination date will be finalised by MP Online, after which districts will be informed separately. Exam was postponed in 2024 The department said the examination was earlier scheduled for December 15, 2024, but could not be conducted due to certain reasons. At that time, 4,786 trainee patwaris were expected to appear for the examination. However, after preparation of a revised list, the number of candidates has now increased to 5,420. Districts asked to submit corrections and updated details The department has instructed all districts to verify the prepared list and send details of any corrections, deletions, or new additions. Officials said that for adding new names, details such as employee code and roll number will be mandatory. The instructions clearly state that district offices should not resend the entire list. Only details of those Patwaris whose records require correction or modification need to be submitted. District authorities have also been directed to inform the department if any trainee Patwari has been transferred to another district. Deadline fixed for submission of revised list All districts have been asked to send the revised information to the departmental email by May 30, 2026. The department has further directed officials to provide candidates with details regarding examination preparation, syllabus, and question paper pattern within the next two days so that trainee patwaris get adequate time to prepare for the examination
