Earlier, Rajasthan Royals’ manager Romi Bhinder was caught on camera using a smartphone in the presence of 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Many users questioned whether the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s strict rules were being properly followed inside the dugout area. Several fans also highlighted that such incidents continue to happen repeatedly despite the board introducing tighter restrictions and stricter protocols during the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 season. According to the IPL’s Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA) rules, team managers are permitted to use mobile phones only inside the dressing room.
