On Friday morning, around 6 am, the body of a constable was found hanging from a noose in a closed police outpost located at Naogaon bus stand in Chhatarpur district. In the initial investigation, the police are considering it a suicide. However, no suicide note has been found yet. Deceased details The deceased has been identified as Tarun Gandharak (age 35 to 40 years). Tarun was originally from Sagar district. He was currently posted at Naogaon police station. It is being told that he committed suicide inside the outpost late on Thursday night. Upon receiving information about the incident, local police force and senior officials took control of the outpost. After inspecting the crime scene, the police brought the body down from the noose and sent it to the district hospital for a post-mortem. The FSL team has also investigated the crime scene. Regarding the matter, SDOP Amit Meshram said that Head Constable Tarun Gandharak might have been under stress. The place where he hanged himself is old and inactive. There is a new police outpost in front of it. All postings are there. Lived on Gahrauli road with wife and daughter According to the SDOP, the head constable lived with his wife and a one-and-a-half to two-year-old daughter on Gahrauli Road in the Naogaon police station area. He did not have duty at the police station or police outpost at night. His body was found in civilian clothes. How did he reach the outpost? What was the reason? This is being investigated. He also has elderly parents who live in Sagar.
