Slot booking extended amid server issues The slot booking deadline has been extended from April 30 to May 9. Despite the extension, farmers are struggling with server failures and poor internet connectivity, which has made the booking process difficult and stressful. CM inspects centres, but problems persist Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inspected several procurement centres, yet ground-level issues remain unresolved in multiple districts. Farmers continue to report mismanagement and delays despite administrative interventions. Capacity increased, but no major relief To ease pressure, slot capacity has been increased from 1,000 quintals to 2,250 quintals, and the number of weighing scales has been raised from 4 to 6. However, these measures have not significantly improved the situation on the ground. Government targets 100 lakh ton procurement The state government has set a procurement target of 100 lakh tonnes of wheat. Farmers are being paid ₹2,625 per quintal (including bonus), and they are allowed to sell their produce at any procurement centre of their choice. Despite these measures, farmers across the state remain dissatisfied due to ongoing technical disruptions and operational inefficiencies.
