Two arrested with MD drugs in Bhopal:23.14 grams seized as suspect waited to deliver consignment in MP Nagar

Bhopal Crime Branch arrested two MD drug traffickers on Saturday. 23.14 grams of MD drug was recovered from the possession of the accused. Its value is being reported as around Rs 2.5 lakh. Police have registered a case against both the accused under the NDPS Act in this matter. Both the accused have been presented in court. According to police, information was received from an informer that a youth was roaming around under the bridge located in MP Nagar looking to sell MD drugs. As soon as the information was received, police cordoned off the area and caught him. During police interrogation, the accused youth gave his name as Manik Lal, resident of Govind Garden, Ashoka Garden, and when searched, police found about 23.14 grams of MD drug on him. Second accused arrested from home During police interrogation, he told that he had purchased this MD from Mohammad Rihan. Based on his identification, police arrested accused Rihan Khan, resident of Pir Gate, from his house. Police say they are now trying to find out from the accused where they got such a large quantity of MD drug from.
